My name is Maria Albano Here at Extensionist, it is my personal and professional goal to help you achieve your hair dreams. Whether you want extensions for volume and fullness or in length, or if you want any type of braid with or without extensions, look no further! I am a specialist in my profession for any challenge that you would love to see come to life or replicate. My hair journey has been a true blessing and I'm here to tell you it's far from over. My interest in hair began long long ago when Jamaican dancehall rapper and singer, Sean Paul, would show up on my television screen on MTV morning music videos, while getting ready for school. I would move and groove to his music and admire all those braid styles he would rock. Immediately my mind was fascinated with those small detailed cornrows. I quite literally grabbed my sister by the hair and forced her to be my mannequin. Over the years my skill set increased significantly as I took several braiding classes by Stasha Harris (Magic Fingers). I got my license in 2014 and at that time I started to assist Michelle Cleveland Extension EXPERT and owner of Hair Addict Salon. My first day with Michelle is the day my love for hair extensions came along! After a year of apprenticing and practicing precision techniques with Michelle, I built an entire clientele achieving everyone’s personal goals every single appointment they have in my chair. Because of this, I'm proud to announce that it has led me to this point where I am as business owner here at Sola Salon, where I have customized my studio to make you feel bright, happy, and at home! The level of deep gratitude I have for my existing clients exceeds any expectations I had going into this field and I would like to thank each and every one for their continued support and loyalty! Without the consistent love, opportunity, patience, knowledge, and reassurance from my dear friend and role model, Michelle, I'm not too sure where I would be today.
